The Linworth School Community Garden could not exist without a team of dedicated volunteers who do everything from planning programs to accounting to building construction. Most importantly, our volunteers serve as models and mentors for students who are taking on community leadership roles for the first time.

Monica is an educational consultant, teacher and member of the Worthington Partnership Green Team who manages the day to day organization of the garden programs. She is an eco-enthusiast  who champions regenerative agriculture and permaculture practices, as well as native plant initiatives.

J. Fenn is the CEO of HOPELaB, a para-educational organization dedicated to empowering young people by teaching them ways to impact their communities and improve the environment independently. J. Fenn has a degree in Art and many years of experience as a maker, builder, and designer.

Volunteer Mentor- Katie Burns

Phyte Club Executive Committee-- Shay Cooper (pictured) and Madi Kern (not pictured)

Students who were members of Phyte Club and have graduated have the opportunity to stay connected by becoming a member of the Executive Committee. These students advise the current students and may lead work groups, suggest activities, join in when available and otherwise hang around.
