It was a great week in the garden this week! We started planting in the pollinator bed, pinched peppers and tomatoes, constructed the arbor and are desperately trying to get our seedlings to get big for the start of plant sale season. Next week we will start selling our native plants. We will continue to sell at the plug size price (3 for $5.00) until our plants grow to large enough that we have to move them up from plug size to plant size. Those will sell for $5.00 apiece. We will also work on our irrigations system, plant our sweet potatoes and sunchokes, prep the cucumber bed, finish starting the warm season seeds, finish installing the final arbor, and harvest our worm castings. Phyte Club meets on Mondays after school until 4:30. Everyone is welcome! Come and Join Us!
